Revived Real Estate is a Licensed and Insured, Virginia Class A Contractor headquartered in Northern Virginia. Founded by Ira and Patrick Petersen, a father-son team with more than forty years of combined commercial and home improvement experience. Revived Real Estate’s commitment to quality and excellence makes us the ideal fit for your construction, remodeling and repair needs. We combine hands-on experience in contracting and an extensive background in project management, procurement and cost estimating to provide our customers with the best value for all your property preservation needs. We pride ourselves on our dedication to getting the job done right the first time, every time.

We specialize in additions, renovations, new home construction, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling and new kitchens. As a home improvement contractor we can assist in handyman services, home improvements, decks and replacement for windows, doors and siding, AC repair or replacement, plumbing and electrical work.

Meet Our Staff

Ira Petersen has over 35 years of experience in mechanical contracting with expertise in all phases of construction including estimating, design/build, scheduling, accounting and project management. Mr. Petersen is a Master HVAC specialist and also holds licenses and/or certifications in Refrigeration, Radon Mitigation, Gas, Plumbing, Home Improvement and OSHA Safety and Health standards. Mr. Petersen also holds a current Virginia Class A Contracting License, along with Gas, Building, Plumbing and Home Improvement trade licenses.

Patrick Petersen has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in field supervision, project management, material procurement, estimating and job costing. Mr. Petersen has managed numerous large-scale new, renovation and restoration projects for customers such as the U.S. Postal Service, Indianapolis Colts Stadium, Washington Nationals Stadium, Department of State, World Bank, Nissan Pavilion (now Jiffy Lube Live), Virginia Railway Express, MWAA (Dulles Airport), West Group and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). He has performed quality control and administered commissioning reports for MWAA and NAVFAC Projects. Mr. Petersen has managed over 200+ employees and overseen over $150 Million worth of work over the years. He has certification in computer aided design and drafting (CADD) from CADD Microsystems.
